【範文】 In recent years, Taiwan has been rapidly transitioning into a super-aged society, bringing various demographic challenges to the forefront. Among the myriad of disadvantaged groups, the solitary elderly undoubtedly stand out as the most vulnerable demographic in urgent need of comprehensive support from both our society and the nation. The solitary elderly face multifaceted predicaments, ranging from economic hardship to severe social exclusion. Financially, many of them subsist on meager pensions, which barely cover essential living expenses and escalating medical bills. Furthermore, physical deterioration often renders them incapable of self-care. Consequently, social isolation exacerbates their vulnerability. Lacking familial companionship and regular interpersonal interactions, these seniors are highly susceptible to psychological issues, such as profound loneliness and depression, further deteriorating their overall well-being.
