【範文】 Taiwan's tourism industry has long grappled with the issue of high resource homogeneity. Visitors often encounter identical souvenirs, generic "old streets," and similar night market offerings across different cities. To enhance its tourism appeal and break away from this uniformity, Taiwan must pivot towards destination differentiation and experiential tourism. First, Taiwan should capitalize on its rich cultural diversity by promoting authentic cultural tourism. Rather than replicating successful attractions, local governments must identify and cultivate their Unique Selling Propositions (USPs). For instance, indigenous tribal tourism should focus on immersive experiences—such as traditional weaving workshops or eco-foraging tours—rather than merely staging commercialized performances. By integrating local storytelling into historical sites, destinations can offer profound emotional connections that cannot be easily duplicated.
