First and foremost, the physical environment of Taichung is exceptionally inviting for senior citizens. Geographically situated in central Taiwan, the city boasts a mild climate with abundant sunshine year-round, which is beneficial for the physical and mental well-being of the elderly. Furthermore, the city features numerous accessible green spaces, such as the Calligraphy Greenway and Taichung Park, providing retirees with serene settings for daily strolls and social gatherings.
