Clowns Without Borders is a non-profit NGO which travels around the world bringing smiles and laughter to those in crisis. It was founded in Barcelona in 1993, after the success of a project in a refugee camp in Croatia where the Catalan artist Tortell Poltrona performed in front of 700 children.
