【譯文】 The Changhua County Government has introduced a self-driving minibus and opened it to the public for test rides last month, with a route length of approximately one kilometer. The county magistrate stated that the self-driving transportation system is a novel attempt in Taiwan. Changhua County possesses excellent spaces for test-driving. By clearing the corridor beneath the elevated Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) tracks, the county plans to center future operations around THSR Changhua Station, connecting nearby parks and camping sites. Using autonomous vehicles to transport tourists is expected to become a new tourist attraction. This self-driving minibus has a maximum load capacity of 1,000 kilograms and features six seats, accommodating up to about ten passengers in total. Moving at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, the vehicle can automatically turn, stop, and open or close its doors.
